The Iron goat trail - June 23, 2007

A look at the newly opened lower portion of the Iron Goat trail between Scenic and Martin's Creek, then up the Corea crossover to Windy Point.

This rail-trail is built on the roadbed of the Great Northern Railway's first route over Stevens Pass. This portion was abandonded in 1929 after the new 7.79-mile long Cascade Tunnel was completed.
